Alberto Mesirca wurde 1984 in Italien geboren und studierte am Konservatorium von Castelfranco Veneto bei Gianfranco Volpato, wo er mit Bestnoten sowohl das Bachelor- als auch das Masterstudium abschloß. Weitere Studien führten ihn zu Wolfgang Lendle an die Musikakademie Kassel, wo er das Konzertexamensstudium mit Auszeichnung absolvierte. Bei den Musikfestivals in Aalborg (Dänemark), Enschede (Holland) und Encs (Ungarn) wurde er als „Nachwuchskünstler des Jahres“ ausgezeichnet und gewann den „Peredurpreis für junge Künstler“, die „Goldene Gitarre“ in Alessandria und den „Italian Young Talent Prize“. Neben hunderten Soloauftritten in ganz Europa (darunter im Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Rundetaarn in Kopenhagen und dem Teatro Reggio in Parma) ist er ein gefragter Kammermusiker.

Alberto Mesirca was born in Italy in 1984. He completed the Bachelor and Master of Arts at the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto, under the guide of Gianfranco Volpato, with highest score, “summa cum laude” and honour mention. Further studies were made with Wolfgang Lendle at the Music Academy of Kassel, completing the Aufbaustudium Konzertexamen with Honours. He was nominated “Young Artist of the Year” at the Aalborg (Denmark), Enschede (Holland) and Encs (Hungary) International Music Festivals. He won the “Peredur Preis für Junge Künstler”, the prestigious “Golden Guitar” at the Alessandria Convention as well as the “Italian Young Talent Prize”.

Besides his hundreds of solo performances around Europe (at venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Rundetaarn in Copenhagen, Teatro Regio in Parma and the Barocksaal des Alten Rathauses in Vienna), he is much in demand as a chamber musician.
